The reason he survived... his car was able to release some of the g force by clearing the guard rail. With the concrete walls lining the entire track now, that head-on impact would have probably been deadly.

I saw the whole story on TV. He survived after being in a coma. Lot of broken bones and his organs literally shifted into different positions from the g forces. Eew |
