This is definitely not enlisting people through attraction. Tom is so forceful (NOT peaceful) does't make Scientology appealing. He is on a serious mission of self aggrandizement. What he wants to do for the world is commendable and his intention to help seems real. But it's more of a high about being the HERO than actually helping. This self righteousness is so divisive, not inclusive, and doesn't respect other methods. Egoic Heroism. He's definitely on the Mission Impossible.
