Sorry Walsh - check that 'internet' a little closer, Bruce wrote the tune - gave it to Patti who made it her own very nicely, as we all know. But Bruce has performed this live for decades. Same way he gave Fire to the Pointer Sisters. (more Bruce songs made famous by others... let's see how you do folks).

Not to be a internet fact checker but Patti Smith wrote and performed this song originally. I dont think anyone ever covered 10,000 maniacs who is worth a damn.
