I completely agree. The music back then was able to voice the plight of people while at the same time not alienating anyone not directly involved in that same plight. It was an open dialogue that used music as its source.
This song was, is, and will always be a classic!

this is my era my 20's and this is part of the music culture which was pure and can be played to mixed audiences as well as different age groups without offending all.plus a sign of the times
