This sounds so lovely, with those warm keyboard sounds, and the refrain is so positive, like an anti-depressant :D
The imperfect sound quality oddly adds to the charm. Strikes me with many songs from that golden age of music.

Leila oh Leila. What a lovely, sensual voice she's always had and what a great song n arrangement by Cesar Camargo Mariano. She sounds just as amazing today w/piano skills too.

£ssa é a verdadeira música do meu país, MPB do bom.

Brilhante!!!
A Leila é demais!!!

Excuse me, I forgot you mentioned you are a guitarist when I posted.
BTW Do you know a place where a chord chart for Verde is available?
mauivu (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
I totally concur aylok, I'm betting your a guitarist? I have two other versions: one from her video "Mais Coisas do Brasil" and one from her "O Melhor De 2" recording. I don't know the chronology but I love them all. The song is a whole emotional way of being and place to go. Leila has benefited by countless excellent arrangements, bringing her out and closer to us. Check out the video mentioned above (with good audio) for a concert treat.
