Anybody watching this is a nerd. Some of us are just in the closet.

I guess that would reflect his character's realization that the ability to see beyond pure logic is not weak. Contrary to what Data says, I don't believe that Spock has rejected his human side. I believe that by this point he has nearly integrated the two halves.

logic is the beginning of wisdom, not the end, hence data's quest to learn about humanity
what I also like is how nemoy's performance of spock has changed over the years, he has become somewhat less cold (for a vulcan)

the Sisko will outlive all of them. He never really died, and he lives with the prophets who are timeless.

they don't have money system in the 24th century. It's the choice of the individual if he/she desires the replacement parts. In shatners novels it's stated that only a handful of people from the 23rd century made it to the 24th century (chekov and uhura weren't one of them Actually lifespan is being increased by if you noticed todays people actually have more illnesses, heart disease, diabetes, cancer, etc. Our quality of life is not what it use to be (we have overburdened life styles today).

Are you telling me that in the grand future of Mankind in the Federation, Uhura and Chekov, two of the members of the most celebrated crew of all time and heroes, would not be given/could not afford healthcare?
34th Century- if they have Warp engines and transporters and phasers, then they have replacement parts, and procedures effective enoguh so that humans live longer.
Even now, that's how it works; with the advances in medicine, each generation is living longer than the one before it.

Why are these things being brought up? XD
Anywho.~
I'm sad about Spock choosing the Vulcan way.~ Things may take a turn for the better, however. I've yet to actually see this episode (or frankly, anything but the movies...), so there's hope. X3 |
