i hope YOU can understand misskate that if you look at the injuries sustained by professional american football and rugby players football is more dangerous. i have played both rugby and football and though i love playing rugby i get mashed up a lot more in american football, pads and all.

A Rugby player hitting you full force is a lot more brutal than someone hitting you when you are fully padded up and wearing a crash helmet. I think my grandma could tolerate being hit if she had that much protection.
